Seems we’re all on a budget these days. Our Harvest of the Month program is a new, affordable monthly giving option! Or double your giving – does your workplace have an Employer Matching program? Here are more ways to stretch your budget and get creative about giving!

We are grateful to each and every company and group raising money to help end hunger. Support the Foodbank while participating in these great events!View all events.
Donate your car, boat, RV or motorcycle to Cars 4 Causes and the Foodbank will receive the proceeds from the sale.
Gifts of Stock
Making a gift of securities is a great way to support the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County. When you transfer appreciated stock to the Foodbank, you will not pay the 20% capital gains tax and you will receive a tax deduction for the fair market value of the stock. This means that a gift of stock will cost you 20% less, helping you help the hungry.
Foodbank Legacy Giving Society
A bequest of cash, securities, or real property to the Foodbank entitles you to a charitable deduction that can be used to reduce the size of your taxable estate and thus reduce or eliminate estate tax liability. There are several types of bequests from which your attorney or financial advisor can help you select. Most importantly, you can perpetuate your support of those in need.
