Monthly Harvest Club

The Monthly Harvest Club makes giving easy. You can make a recurring monthly donation for a specific amount automatically by using your credit card.

Your donation is then expedited to help feed the hungry. Monthly Harvest Club members are especially important to the Foodbank because each month we know in advance that we can count on you and your generous donation.

Gifts of Stock

Making a gift of securities is a great way to support the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County. When you transfer appreciated stock to the Foodbank, you will not pay the 20% capital gains tax and you will receive a tax deduction for the fair market value of the stock. This means that a gift of stock will cost you 20% less, helping you help the hungry. A bequest of cash, securities, or real property to the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County entitles you to a charitable deduction that can be used to reduce the size of your taxable estate and thus reduce or eliminate estate tax liability.
