Feinstein Challenge - March 1st - April 30th
This is
your chance to be part of the most successful grassroots campaign ever to fight hunger in America. Every gift received by the Foodbank during this period qualifies for matching.
For the thirteenth year in a row, philanthropist Alan Shaw Feinstein has pledged to contribute $1 million to charitable organizations that fight hunger in America. The greater your gift amount, the greater the Feinstein contribution to the Foodbank.

Monthly Harvest Club
The Monthly Harvest Club makes giving easy. You can make a recurring monthly contribution for a specific amount automatically by using your credit card.

Your contribution is then expedited to help feed the hungry. Monthly Harvest Club members are especially important to the Foodbank because each month we know in advance that we can count on you and your generous contribution.

Complete and return a Monthly Harvest Club application to get your monthly gift started.

Gifts of Stock
Making a gift of securities is a great way to support the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County. When you transfer appreciated stock to the Foodbank, you will not pay the 20% capital gains tax and you will receive a tax deduction for the fair market value of the stock. This means that a gift of stock will cost you 20% less, helping you help the hungry. For more information on how to transfer securities to the Foodbank or to make your gift, please contact Diane Durst at 805-967-5741, x 104. Download our stock gift form, click here.

Gifts by Will
A bequest of cash, securities, or real property to the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County entitles you to a charitable deduction that can be used to reduce the size of your taxable estate and thus reduce or eliminate estate tax liability. There are several types of bequests from which your attorney or financial advisor can help you select. Most importantly, you can perpetuate your support of those in need.
