Melissa R. Petersen

Ms. Petersen is the Audit Manager with MacFarlane, Faletti & Co., LLP, providing audit, review and tax services for local not-for-profit organizations and small businesses. Prior to joining MacFarlane, Faletti & Co., LLP, Melissa worked with Deloitte & Touche, LLP, an international public accounting firm, where she worked on financial statement audits of several large not-for-profit entities. Melissa earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California – Santa Barbara. Melissa is an active member of the nonprofit community and has spoken at educational workshops for nonprofits sponsored by her firm and by the Nonprofit Support Center. Melissa enjoys getting outdoors as much as possible, including hiking and camping with her family and working in her garden.
